If we don't teach Bible, then there will be a vacuum of the Knowledge of God, that will eventually be filled by someone else regarding something else.

Saving babies is a personal conviction.

Do I have to thump the Bible to not murder or steal from my neighbor?

Hi Neena. I don't quite fully understand your comment, so it's difficult to respond appropriately. :) Namely the last sentence. If you wanted to clarity a bit more, that would be helpful. Much thanks for leaving the comment.

Naturally, I know not to murder and not to steal. I don't refrain from murder and stealing just because it is written in the Bible. I don't have to be a Bible thumper to not murder and steal, it is my conscientious decision even before I refer to the Bible. Similarly, I don't need to be a Bible thumper to preserve the life of my child. Mothers are ferociously protective of their offspring - even the birds and animals.

Thanks for the clarification, Neena! I was leaning in that direction, but just wanted to make sure. :) I fully agree. God has written His laws on every humans heart and that moral code (or conscientious) "naturally" leads us. I believe it's unnatural to believe and act otherwise. Blessings!

Very well said. For too long, Christians have shied away from sharing Truth at the expense of people dying without knowing God. As Pastor Goree said, if people were in a burning building, we would be yelling our heads off for help to save them.

I agree, Rene! I remember Pastor Goree! And you're right, the church not only needs to be yelling for help, but be courageous enough to go in there and rescue them. Thinking of the movie clip from "The Greatest Showman." Blessings.
