My wife, Wendi, and I will be taking a much-needed extended vacation time throughout June. Serving Convergence Church as the founding Pastors for the past twenty-six years is truly remarkable. Extended time away will be is cause to reflect and celebrate His goodness!
God is so faithful and so good! There are times in the journey when I haven’t understood the meaning and purpose surrounding events that have taken place, but I’ve learned to anchor my faith in a perfect Father who knows the end from the beginning and is seeking my highest good at all times! I can without question say that there were many, so many more victories than disappointments. It’s a joy and privilege to serve Him and others in full-time ministry.
With that said, I sense the right thing for me to do while Wendi and I are away, is to take a break from writing here for a short season. I want to take full advantage of maximizing the time we have set aside to rest, reflect, and be refreshed.
Prayer: Our Top Priority
I realize there is much going on in our world. Much to be in prayer about. Much to be involved in. Our nation is hurting. There is a war within our borders. It’s a war, not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. The battle is between good and evil. The church is awakening and needs to take her rightful place as salt, light, and leaven. To lift the standard of righteousness. To be a voice, His voice! These are things I’m praying and pondering over as we go.
If you remember, keep us in your prayers as we will you!
Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”
Blessing - P. Greg
